Skill changes
We have carefully considered the question of whether to maintain the classic balance of Lineage 2 or make some adjustments. In the end, it was decided to improve it, but only minimally. This decision was based on two key points:
Please understand that our goals are not to radically overhaul the classes or create perfect balance between them. We aim to address the most obvious issues for the convenience of the players.
About Summoners
We have received many feedback regarding that Summoners are way more powerful than other classes and many players agree on this. However, it is essential to remember that our server will have stages, and access to third-tier pets will not be available right away. We've made some changes to address the imbalance with Summoners.
The cooldown for summoning all
third class have been increased to 30 seconds.
This will balance Summoners at late stages of the game, as everyone will progress at a similar pace. When "magnus" appear, players will be better equipped, reducing previous issues.
About Enchanters
In these classes, we have made a significant change. Sword Singer and Bladedancer are now combined into a single enchanter, which simplifies finding parties and integrating the enchanter into parties. Songs and dances that are essencial to leveling are now available to every enchanter. However, to keep class uniqueness, not every skills have been add:
Sword Singer - added:
BladeDancer - added:
In this update, enchanters have access to 2 skill levels for songs and dances, but as you can see, we've added only 1 level to the other profession.
For example, Dance of the Mystic has 2 skill levels:
M. Atk. +20% for all party members.
M. Atk. +24% for all party members.
Now, it will be easier for players to find a enchanter for their group, as they only need to find one instead of two. However, if desired, players can still look for both. With these changes, we hope that more players will consider choosing this class.
Another significant change is the transfer of the skill Deadly Strike to the 2nd profession. Players can still level up this skill, but the effect of reducing the target's P. Def. will only appear on the 3rd profession. This change will enhance the effectiveness of enchanters while leveling, make them stronger in various PvP formats, and allow them to be more independent in the Olympiad. And, of course, at level 40, bards gain access to the skill
Inner Rhythm - reduces MP consumption during dancing and singing by 70%.
